Ronel Kemp is a Clinical Psychologist in Panorama, Cape Town. After completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology in 1992,
Ronel spent some time working in correctional services as they had sponsored her bursary. She then moved on to practice at Riverfield Lodge in Johannesburg, a rehabilitation facility for Psychiatric Care, Addiction Treatment and Acute Physical and Cognitive Rehabilitation. She developed a keen interest in Addiction Treatment and the various forms of addiction people suffer with.
Ronel Kemp was then asked to work at an assisted care facility for the elderly, where she developed a program to help patients suffering with dementia before going into Private Practice. The program is still used in care facilities today. Although Ronel has spent a majority of her time in Private Practice, she has also spent some time in the corporate sector, assisting with life and career coaching, which she offers to patients on a private basis as well. When she is not seeing patients,
Ronel enjoys spending her time with her beautiful family in leafy Cape Town.
